After a successful and satisfying corporate career (see below), Linda Semmler decided to use those talents and experience to support her first love, specialty retailers. She created, along with her husband, Allan, Purpose Design LLC. Purpose Design LLC is a boutique marketing, merchandising, and sales consulting company designed to advise, help manage, and add value to small and medium-sized companies, including specialty retailers and niche product wholesalers.
The experiences of her career as Vice President, Sales at Scholastic Book Fairs, Senior Vice President, Product Development with a Reader's Digest division, and Vice President, Stores, with Store of Knowledge, along with other retail positions, has brought a wealth of knowledge in marketing, merchandising, product development, brand management, and operations. Her unique and broad-ranged areas of expertise and consultative style have been able to provide support to her clients at Purpose Design LLC.
